Cute and Sweet Handmade Earring
We have been exploring in making different polymer clay items. Since year 2006, we have started with using paper clay to make figurine. When polymer clay was introduced to us , a friend of ours bought an oven as a Christmas gift to support us in using polymer clay to make even better quality of figurines. Stephy the main clay artist in Arts-n-Gizmo will be mainly focusing on making figurines and greeting cards. Leena, which is myself will be more focusing in small little items such as key chains, magnets, clay stickers, bag charms.
Recently, we have just make few polymer clay earrings just for fun. Surprisingly, our youngest sister, Lily loves the mushroomie earring and now she wear it to work at times.:) Here jsut to share with you 2 of the earrings we've made. Hope you will like it too! :P

Moment with Dweey - Chinese Wedding Couple
Our dear friend- Diamond's sister is getting married soon. Her sister is going for her wedding photo shooting soon and she wants to give something unique for her sister's wedding photo. So she decided to take out the Dweey collection toy she bought sometimes ago and get Stephy (Arts-n-Gizmo's Artist) to design a Dweey Wedding couple for her. This Dweey wedding couple specially designed for her will appear in her wedding photo.
Some of you may ask, what or who is Dweey? well do pay a visit at dweey.com to find out more about this character. I personally think this is a very creative and cute toy created by a successful local Malaysian designer - Luke Chee Chew.
For this set of Dweey, Stephy used acrylic paint to draw and paint the dweey face. This face painting is inpired by the Chinese opera face painting. She find Chinese opera symbolized the uniqueness of the Chinese culture, this will meet the request of her friend who wish to have something unique. The wedding costume is made from polymer clay. The costume is the Chinese traditional wedding costume that will match with the Chinese opera face painting.
Here we share with you what she has designed.Diamond's sister, hope you will love it too! :)
